Who is this cream intended for?

Rilastil Xerolact Cream Base is intended for dry, very dry, sensitive and tight-feeling skin that needs daily hydration and protection. It may be used when dryness is associated with cold weather, wind, indoor heating, frequent showering, harsh cleansing products or a natural tendency towards lipid deficiency.

Directions for use

Apply to clean, dry skin on the face or body and massage gently until fully absorbed. Use twice daily or as required.

For best results, apply within a few minutes of bathing or showering while the skin is still slightly damp. Reapply to particularly dry areas during the day if needed.

Important warnings

• For external use only.
• Avoid direct contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not apply to open, bleeding, infected or weeping wounds.
• Discontinue use if persistent stinging, rash, swelling or increased redness occurs.
• For babies, apply only to intact, healthy skin.
• Severe itching, weeping, crusting or worsening dermatitis requires medical assessment.

A common mistake with dry skin is applying moisturiser only when flaking and severe tightness appear. Regular application after bathing helps maintain the skin barrier before the skin becomes dry again.

Cream Base is intended for daily hydration of dry and very dry skin. When severe itching, redness and atopy-prone skin are dominant, the richer Xerolact PB Balm may be more suitable. During active dermatitis, dermocosmetic care does not replace treatment recommended by a doctor.
