Who is the product intended for?

It is intended for people with fair phototypes, skin prone to redness, sunburn and sun spots and skin showing signs of prolonged sun exposure. It may form part of a protective routine after dermatological procedures or when consistent very high photoprotection has been recommended by a dermatologist.

Photoprotection for actinically damaged skin

Skin affected by years of UV exposure requires daily protection, not only at the beach. Particular attention should be paid to the forehead, nose, ears, cheeks, scalp with thinning hair, neck, décolletage, forearms and backs of the hands. A high-protection product must be applied generously and renewed regularly.

Directions for use

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use.
2. Apply evenly and generously to clean, dry skin.
3. Apply at least 30 minutes before sun exposure.
4. Do not forget the ears, neck, décolletage, scalp and hands.
5. Renew the protection frequently during the day.
6. Reapply after swimming, heavy sweating, towel drying or friction from clothing.

For everyday facial use, apply as the final morning skincare step before make-up.

Important warnings

• Discontinue use if marked stinging, rash, swelling or persistent redness occurs.
• Keep tightly closed and protected from direct heat and sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Pharmacist’s advice

Daily consistency is essential for actinically damaged skin. Apply the product even outside the summer season, particularly to the face, ears, neck, scalp and hands. One morning application is generally insufficient for an entire day outdoors.

Photoprotection reduces further UV exposure but cannot remove an existing suspicious lesion. Actinic keratosis may appear as a rough or scaly area that repeatedly returns, making regular dermatological follow-up important.
