Who is this product intended for?

Rilastil Xerolact Cleansing Oil is intended for skin that feels tight, rough, itchy or uncomfortable after washing. It can be used for dry and very dry skin, atopy-prone skin, the sensitive skin of babies and children, and by adults whose skin is further dried by conventional soaps and shower gels.

Directions for use

For showering, apply a small amount to wet skin, massage gently and rinse thoroughly. Pat the skin dry with a soft towel instead of rubbing.

For bathing, add approximately five pumpfuls to the water while the bath is filling. Avoid very hot water and prolonged bathing, as these may further dry the skin.

Important warnings

• For external use only.
• Rinse with water in case of direct eye contact.
• Do not use on open, infected or weeping wounds.
• Discontinue use if persistent stinging, rash or increased redness occurs.
• The formula contains fragrance; very reactive skin should test a small area first.
• Severe itching, weeping, sores, painful cracks or worsening atopic dermatitis require medical assessment.
• Keep out of reach of children and away from direct light and heat.

Pharmacist’s advice

With dry and atopy-prone skin, skincare should begin during cleansing rather than only when irritation appears. Harsh soaps, prolonged showers and very hot water may further weaken the skin barrier.

Apply an emollient cream or balm within a few minutes of bathing while the skin is still slightly damp. During an active flare of atopic dermatitis, marked redness or skin lesions, cosmetic care does not replace treatment recommended by a dermatologist or paediatrician.
