Rilastil Sun System Velvet Baby Milk SPF 50+ 200 ml provides very high UVA and UVB protection for the delicate and sensitive skin of babies and children. Its velvety texture spreads easily over the face and body, while the formula is designed to minimise the risk of eye stinging.

The milk is very water-resistant and formulated without fragrance or alcohol. A combination of photostable UV filters, bisabolol, vitamin E, oryzanol, schisandra extract and plant antioxidants provides protective and soothing care during outdoor activities.

Rilastil Velvet Baby Milk is intended for babies and children with delicate, fair, sensitive or reactive skin requiring very high protection outdoors. It is suitable for family holidays, the beach, swimming pool, walks, playground activities and other time spent outside.

Directions for use

Apply a generous and even layer to all uncovered areas of the face and body approximately 30 minutes before sun exposure. Pay particular attention to the shoulders, neck, ears, nose, cheeks, knees and tops of the feet.

Reapply regularly, particularly after swimming, sweating, towel drying, playing in sand or friction from clothing. Applying an insufficient amount significantly reduces the level of protection.

Important warnings

For external use only.
No sunscreen provides complete protection from solar radiation.
Babies and young children should not be exposed to direct sunlight, particularly during peak radiation hours.
For babies under six months, shade, protective clothing and avoiding direct sun are the primary protective measures.
Use a hat, lightweight protective clothing and shade as additional protection.
Avoid direct sunlight approximately between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Avoid direct eye contact; rinse carefully with water if contact occurs.
Do not apply to open, infected or severely irritated skin.
Discontinue use if rash, swelling, severe stinging or persistent redness occurs.
Store away from direct light and heat.

Pharmacist’s advice

For children’s skin, SPF 50+ is not a substitute for shade, a hat and lightweight protective clothing. Keep children out of direct sunlight during the hottest part of the day and provide fluids and regular breaks in the shade.

The most common mistake is applying too little or missing the ears, neck, shoulders and feet. Reapply even though the formula is very water-resistant, as swimming, towels, sand and sweating gradually remove it from the skin.
