How to use

1. Cleanse the face with a gentle cleanser and apply toner.
2. Open the sachet, take out the gel mask and remove the protective film.
3. Place the mask on the face, avoiding the eye and lip area.
4. Leave on for 1 to 3 hours; for sensitive skin start with a shorter time (30–60 minutes).
5. Remove the mask and gently pat the remaining gel into the skin, without rinsing.
6. Finish with a moisturizer. Use 1–2 times a week at first, then up to 2–3 times a week as needed.
7. The next morning, always apply sun protection SPF 30 or higher.

How to fit it into your routine

Morning: Gentle cleansing, toner, a light serum or moisturizer and mandatory SPF protection (especially the day after using the mask).

Evening: Cleansing, toner, gel mask for 1–3 hours, patting in the remaining gel and a soothing moisturizer. Skip retinoids and acid exfoliants that evening.

Important notes

• patch test on a small area of skin before first use;
• the formula contains fragrance and a small amount of retinol, which matters for very sensitive and reactive skin;
• do not combine on the same evening with retinoids, AHA/BHA exfoliants or strong vitamin C serums;
• avoid the eye and lip area; do not apply to damaged or irritated skin;
• if stinging, redness or itching occurs, remove the mask immediately and rinse the face with water;
• use SPF protection regularly during the period of use;
• keep out of reach of children, in a dry and cool place, protected from direct sunlight.

Pharmacist's advice

With kojic acid masks, results come from consistency, not a single use. The four masks in the pack are best used over two weeks (two evenings a week), wearing SPF consistently in the meantime, because dark spots quickly return without sun protection.

According to the instructions, this mask is worn much longer than a classic sheet mask (1–3 hours). If your skin is sensitive or you are using a product with kojic acid and retinol for the first time, start with 30–60 minutes and extend the time only once you see that your skin reacts well.

Keep the mask evening simple: no retinol, acid exfoliants or other strong actives. After the mask, a plain moisturizer with ceramides or panthenol is enough.

For stubborn spots, melasma or suddenly appearing pigmentation changes, the mask does not replace a dermatologist visit; in that case use it only as a complement to the recommended treatment.
