How to use

1. In the evening, cleanse the face thoroughly and apply toner and a light serum if desired; wait for them to absorb.
2. Apply an even, not too thin layer of the mask to dry facial skin, avoiding the eyebrows, hairline, eye area and lips.
3. Let the mask dry completely (usually 20–30 minutes) before going to bed so the film can form.
4. Leave the mask on overnight.
5. In the morning, gently peel off the film from the edges towards the centre of the face.
6. Rinse the face with lukewarm water and continue the morning routine.
7. Use 2–3 times a week; after a few weeks adjust the frequency to the condition of the skin.

How to fit it into your routine

Morning: Peel off the film, rinse the face with lukewarm water, apply a hydrating serum, cream and always SPF protection.

Evening: Cleansing, toner, a light hydrating serum if desired, then Collagen Night Wrapping Mask as the last step instead of night cream. Do not apply over retinoids or acids on the same evening.

Important notes

• a patch test on a small area of skin is recommended before first use;
• do not apply to the eyebrows, hairline, eyelashes or the area right around the eyes and lips, as the film may pull fine hairs;
• do not apply over oils or rich creams, as the film will not form properly;
• do not apply to broken, inflamed or post-treatment irritated skin;
• peel the film slowly and gently; remove residue with water, not by rubbing;
• if redness, itching or stinging occurs, remove the mask immediately and rinse the face;
• close the tube tightly after use;
• keep out of reach of children, protected from heat and direct sunlight.

Pharmacist's advice

The key to successful use is layer thickness: too thin a layer is hard to peel, and too thick a layer will not dry by morning and feels sticky. Apply an even layer through which the skin is still faintly visible and wait until it dries completely before lying down.

Apply the mask as the last step, over light water-based serums, not over oils or thick creams. Do not use retinoids, AHA/BHA acids or peels on the same evening – the film holds ingredients underneath it, which can increase irritation with strong actives.

When peeling, start from the edges and pull the film slowly, close to the skin. For dry and sensitive skin, limit use to twice a week; for daily firmness care it is better to rely on serum and cream and use the mask as an intensive overnight addition.
