How to use

Place the cuff on the patient's upper arm, about 2-3 cm above the elbow crease, directly on the skin or over a very thin cotton shirt. Connect it to the ABPM holter device according to the manufacturer's instructions. During the 24-hour monitoring period, the patient should behave normally, and when they feel the cuff inflating, the arm should be relaxed and held still.

Choosing the appropriate cuff size is a critical factor in obtaining accurate blood pressure results, especially in children. Using a cuff that is too large on a small arm can yield falsely low values, while a cuff that is too small gives falsely high results. Since wearing a holter lasts for 24 hours, it is important that the skin under the cuff remains dry; if the patient experiences severe irritation, it is recommended to place a thin cotton cloth underneath the cuff.
