Due to the changes that occur in the blood vessels and nerves during the duration of diabetes, over time, there are changes in the quality of the skin of the feet. The skin becomes dry, sensitive, irritated, prone to cracking, injury and infections. On such a surface, over time, wounds can form from which a condition known as diabetic foot develops.

The active ingredients of Difoten cream increase the skin's resistance and natural defense mechanisms, prevent the development of local infections, and help heal minor wounds and burns:

Urea binds water with its crystalline structure, gradually releases it and thus moisturizes the skin, making it hydrated and elastic. Also, urea softens and removes dead, thickened and dry layers of skin. In addition to these beneficial effects, urea also has a mild antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect.

Panthenol is an emollient that hydrates the skin and passes through the skin very well. Reduces inflammatory skin conditions, removes itching and promotes healing of the surface layers of the skin. It has several valuable healing properties that complement each other when it comes to skin changes:

• perfectly moisturizes the skin as it binds to water in the skin,

• promotes the formation of lipids in the skin, thereby restoring the lipid barrier and indirectly preventing additional water loss from the skin,

• promotes the formation of new skin cells,

• promotes the creation of new, healthy, skin tissue,

• contributes to the durability of collagen fibers (increases the strength of scars).

It is used to accelerate the healing of skin injuries (scratches, abrasions, minor burns), care and regeneration of dry, cracked, roughened and damaged skin due to peripheral circulation disorders, with the aim of stimulating epithelialization (formation of the surface layer) of the skin and / or increasing its moisture and care.

Evening primrose oil contains 72% alpha-linolenic and 9% gamma-linolenic acid, so this plant is considered the richest source of essential fatty acids. By metabolizing alpha-linolenic acid, gamma-linolenic acid is formed, the concentration of which in the skin has a decisive influence on stopping inflammatory and anti-inflammatory processes. These unsaturated fatty acids from evening primrose oil help the skin to build a natural barrier to environmental factors, normalize water loss, neutralize free radicals and prevent their formation, and generally improve the general condition of the skin and promote faster healing of minor wounds and burns.

Marigold oil has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial effect, promotes wound healing and epithelialization by promoting, among other things, local tissue circulation.

Difoten cream is intended for skin care of the feet of people with diabetes. Thanks to the active ingredients, Difoten cream makes dry skin of feet prone to injuries, slows down the healing of wounds, makes them more resistant, softer, more elastic, helps to heal minor injuries and prevents the occurrence and development of local infections.

Use: For external use only. After washing, dry the skin of the foot well, apply the cream in a thin layer 2-3 times a day and rub lightly.

Active ingredients: urea, panthenol, evening primrose oil, calendula oil.

Properties and action: Urea and panthenol hydrate the skin, making it soft and elastic. In addition, urea softens and removes dead, thickened and dry skin layers, and has both antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects.
