The beginnings of business date back to 1871, when the first Novi Sad soap company was founded, which later grew into the first soap factory in Novi Sad. The factory has been operating under the name Albus since 1923, and in a short time it has become one of the largest producers of washing and shaving soaps, but also the highest quality toilet soaps.
In 1961, Albus introduced a new technology and began producing detergents and then fabric softeners. In the following decades, Albus experienced a boom by associating with well-known European companies (Yves Rocher, Baldoot, Eylir) and thanks to this type of cooperation, Albus is expanding its range to the production of cosmetic products. A significant year for the business was 1997, when Albus became the first detergent manufacturer to receive ISO 9001 certification.
Since 2005, Albus has been a part of Inway Holding and has received a strong incentive for further development. Today, Albus is a renowned manufacturer on the domestic market in the field of household chemicals and personal cosmetics, with a wide range of products.
