Directions for use

1. Soften facial hair with warm water and a suitable shaving foam, cream or gel.
2. Shave with a clean, sufficiently sharp razor without repeatedly passing over the same area.
3. Rinse away shaving-product residue with lukewarm or slightly cooler water.
4. Pat the skin dry without rubbing.
5. Apply approximately a pea-sized amount of balm.
6. Spread over the freshly shaved areas of the face and neck.
7. Massage gently until fully absorbed.
8. Leave the balm on the skin without rinsing.
9. Avoid the immediate eye area.

Post-shave burning is frequently caused by a blunt razor, excessive pressure or repeatedly shaving the same area. Change the blade regularly and shave in the direction of hair growth when the skin is prone to irritation.

Apply the balm to clean and completely dry skin. A small amount is sufficient; a thick layer will not work better and may feel too heavy on oily or combination skin.

When ingrown hairs are common, avoid an extremely close shave and excessive stretching of the skin. Gentle exfoliation may help, but it should not be performed immediately after shaving or over inflamed lesions.

Although the formula contains ceramides and soothing ingredients, it is fragranced. Fragrance-free care is preferable for active dermatitis, confirmed fragrance allergy or highly reactive skin.
