Directions for use

1. Rinse the face with warm or lukewarm water before shaving.
2. Whenever practical, shave after showering when facial hair is softer.
3. Hold the container upright and dispense a small amount into the palm.
4. Apply directly to damp facial hair and skin.
5. Massage gently until the gel transforms into rich foam.
6. Allow a short time for the facial hair to soften.
7. Shave using a clean and sufficiently sharp razor without excessive pressure.
8. When skin is prone to irritation, shave primarily in the direction of hair growth.
9. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm or slightly cooler water.
10. Pat dry and apply a suitable after-shave balm.

The most comfortable shave is achieved when the skin and facial hair are thoroughly moistened. Warm water softens the beard, but very hot water may increase dryness and redness.

Only a small amount is required because the gel expands into rich foam. A thicker layer does not necessarily provide better glide when the razor blade is blunt or unclean.

Replace the blade as soon as it begins pulling hair or requires additional pressure. Repeatedly shaving the same area is a common cause of burning, micro-cuts and redness.

When ingrown hairs are common, avoid an extremely close shave and excessive stretching of the skin. Gentle exfoliation may be used on another day, but not immediately after shaving or over inflamed lesions.

Painful spots, pustules, crusting or redness after every shave may indicate folliculitis or contact dermatitis and require targeted care.
