Order of use

1. Dispense a small amount of shower gel into the palm and allow it to expand into rich foam.
2. Massage over damp body skin and rinse thoroughly.
3. Apply the shampoo to wet hair and scalp, massage gently and rinse.
4. Repeat shampooing when required, particularly for oily hair or after exercise.
5. Apply the scrub to damp facial skin, avoiding the eye area.
6. Massage gently in circular movements and rinse thoroughly.
7. For deeper cleansing, leave it on as a mask for up to 10 minutes before rinsing.
8. Apply L’Essentiel to pulse points such as the neck and wrists.
9. Allow the fragrance to air dry without rubbing the skin.

Pharmacist’s advice

Begin by using the facial scrub once or twice weekly. If the skin is oilier and tolerates exfoliation well, frequency can be gradually increased, but the product should not be rubbed aggressively.

For sensitive, dry or freshly shaved skin, keep contact time short and use it only as a gentle rinse-off scrub rather than a ten-minute mask.

Concentrate the shampoo on the scalp and roots. The lengths do not usually require vigorous rubbing because the foam cleanses them while rinsing.

Apply perfume to healthy skin. For fragrance sensitivity, it may be applied to clothing from a suitable distance after checking that it does not leave marks.

Persistent flaking, itching or redness of the scalp, or inflamed facial lesions, require targeted dermatological care and advice from a pharmacist or dermatologist.
