Nebivolol is a medicine containing the active substance nebivolol, a selective beta-blocker used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and as an adjunct to therapy for mild to moderate chronic heart failure in patients over 70 years of age.
Composition and shape
Active substance: nebivolol (in the form of nebivolol hydrochloride)
Excipients: include lactose, crospovidone, povidone K-30, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate
Pharmaceutical form: white round biconvex tablet with a notch, diameter about 9 mm
Packaging: blister packs of 28 tablets
Method of application
Dose: The recommended dose is 5 mg once a day, taken at the same time each day.
How to take: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, without chewing or crushing.
Taking with food: There is no need for a special regimen regarding meals.
If you forget a dose: If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
Possible side effects
Side effects may occur, but not everyone may experience them. The most commonly reported side effects include:
Very common (may affect more than 1 in 10 patients):
slow heartbeat (bradycardia)
dizziness
Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 patients):
worsening heart failure
low blood pressure (hypotension)
swelling of the lower extremities
1st degree AV block
Very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 patients):
angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat)
allergic reactions with widespread skin eruptions

Contraindications and warnings
Nebivolol Sandoz must not be used if you have:
severe heart failure that is not controlled by medication
low blood pressure
slow heartbeat (less than 60 beats per minute)
heart rhythm disorders (e.g. atrioventricular block II and III degree)
asthma or a history of bronchospasm
pheochromocytoma (adrenal gland tumor)
severe disorders of liver function
metabolic acidosis

For the territory of the Republic of Serbia:
For goods ordered up to 5.000,00 RSD, delivery charge is 260.00 RSD (VAT included). For goods over 5.000,00 RSD, shipping is free of charge.
For international delivery:
For the export of goods abroad through the PostExport service of Post of Serbia, the shipping price is for:
- Zone I (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia) - 1,280.00 RSD
- Zone II (Other European countries) - 1,790.00 RSD
- Zone III (Asia, Africa, America, Australia and other countries) - 2,650.00 RSD
Delivery time is 15 days or more (depending on the country of delivery)
For export of goods abroad through DHL service, the shipping price is 2,700.00 RSD. Delivery time is 1-5 business days (depending on the country of delivery)
Shipping cost is with tax. The price includes the delivery of the parcel to the buyer's address with the associated tax and customs at the seller's expense. A possible additional cost may be a customs charge against the buyer, depending on the country to which the package is being shipped.
