Formag Mg Direct 20 sachets for children is a food supplement from the French manufacturer PiLeJe, formulated with marine magnesium in the Hypro-ri® Mag complex, taurine and vitamins B6 and D3. Each strawberry-flavoured orodispersible sachet provides 100 mg of magnesium.

Magnesium contributes to normal muscle and nervous-system function, normal energy-yielding metabolism and reduced tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B6 also supports normal nervous-system function, while vitamin D is needed for normal growth and bone development in children.

Pharmacist’s advice Gradually pour the powder onto the child’s tongue and allow it to dissolve, or mix it with cold or lukewarm water, juice or fruit purée. Do not add it to very hot food or drinks. Formag already contains vitamin D3, so the child’s total daily intake should be checked when another vitamin D, multivitamin or mineral product is also used. The supplement is not a treatment for hyperactivity, attention disorders, insomnia or cramps of unknown origin. Persistent tiredness, muscle weakness, pain, poor growth, chronic illness, kidney disease or regular medication require advice from a paediatrician.

Directions and important information

Directions: children aged 3–12 years should take one sachet daily. Gradually pour the contents directly into the mouth without water, or dissolve in approximately 150–200 ml of water, fruit juice or fruit purée. Stir well before use.

Recommended course: one pack provides 20 days of use. Longer or repeated supplementation should be adapted to the child’s diet, age and professional advice.

Age: intended for children from 3 to 12 years of age. Not suitable for children under three.
