How to use

1. Soak a cotton pad with a suitable amount of Micellar Lotion.
2. Gently sweep it over the face without excessive rubbing.
3. Use a different clean cotton pad for each eye.
4. The lotion can also be used to remove lip products.
5. Repeat with clean pads until no visible makeup or impurities remain.
6. Gently pat the skin dry after cleansing.

Morning and evening use

Morning: use to remove overnight impurities, excess surface oils and skincare residue and prepare the complexion for serum, moisturiser, SPF and makeup.

Evening: use to remove makeup, daily pollution and impurities from the face, eyes and lips. For long-wearing or waterproof makeup, repeat gently rather than rubbing aggressively.

Does it remove long-wearing and waterproof makeup?

Embryolisse reports clinically assessed makeup-removal efficacy on both long-wearing foundation and waterproof mascara.

The evaluation was carried out as clinical self-scoring involving 12 women. Individual results may vary depending on the type and amount of makeup worn.

For very resistant eye makeup, hold a well-soaked cotton pad gently over the closed eye for a few moments before wiping. Aggressive rubbing is unnecessary and may irritate delicate skin.

With sensitive skin, cleansing technique can be almost as important as the product itself. Even a gentle micellar cleanser can leave skin red if a dry or insufficiently soaked cotton pad is repeatedly rubbed across the face.

Use a well-saturated cotton pad and gentle movements. For mascara, hold the pad against the closed eye for a few seconds before wiping rather than repeatedly rubbing the eyelashes and eyelids.

If you wear heavy makeup or water-resistant sunscreen every day, Micellar Lotion can be used as the first step of an evening cleansing routine. A mild rinse-off cleanser suited to your skin type can follow when needed.

After cleansing, dry or dehydrated skin usually benefits from timely application of a hydrating serum and moisturiser rather than remaining without skincare for a prolonged period.

The formula is fragranced. If fragrance regularly triggers stinging or redness, choosing a genuinely fragrance-free cleansing product may be the more sensible option.
