The formula is intended to provide nutritional support for adults and children over 3 years of age experiencing urinary tract discomfort associated with Escherichia coli. How do the UriRoyal ingredients work?

D-mannose is a simple sugar that is largely eliminated through the urine. Within the bladder it may bind to surface structures of certain Escherichia coli strains, reducing their ability to remain attached to the urinary tract lining and supporting their mechanical elimination during urination.

Saccharomyces boulardii I-3799 is a beneficial yeast culture that may be used during antibiotic treatment. It is included to support the balance of the intestinal microbiota, which may be disrupted by antibiotics.

Streptococcus thermophilus HA-110 is present in a tyndallised, heat-inactivated form. This postbiotic component complements the combination of D-mannose and S. boulardii.

How to use PharmaS UriRoyal

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 100 ml of water and drink immediately after preparation. Evening use before bedtime, on an empty stomach and after emptying the bladder, is recommended. Do not drink additional water immediately after taking the product.

Adults and children over 7 years: 1 sachet daily.
Children aged 3–7 years: 1/2 sachet daily.
For uncomplicated E. coli-related urinary discomfort: use for 3–7 days.
For recurrent discomfort: the product information allows use for up to three months, preferably under medical or pharmaceutical supervision.

Important warnings

This product is not an antibiotic and should not delay medical assessment or prescribed treatment.
People with a central venous catheter, severely ill patients and significantly immunocompromised individuals should not use products containing S. boulardii without explicit medical advice.
People with diabetes should seek professional advice before prolonged use of products containing D-mannose.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Seek prompt medical advice in case of fever, chills, flank pain, blood in the urine, nausea, vomiting or worsening symptoms.
