How to take SANAT Folic Acid

Adults and children over six years: take one capsule daily, preferably with a meal or as advised by a healthcare professional.

At one capsule daily, the package lasts approximately 30 days.

Women planning pregnancy should begin appropriate folic-acid supplementation in good time, according to professional advice. Supplemental folic-acid intake increases maternal folate status. The beneficial effect for women of childbearing age is obtained with an additional daily intake of 400 µg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

Women with specific risk factors may require a different medically prescribed dose and should not replace it by independently taking several capsules.

Folic acid does not replace vitamin B12 or iron. Confirmed anaemia should be managed according to laboratory results and its underlying cause.
