What is Probiovag and how are the vaginal suppositories used?

Probiovag is a medical device from the Serbian brand MaxMedica in the form of vaginal suppositories (vagitories). According to the manufacturer, it is based on non-viable, tyndallised (heat-treated) Lactobacillus strains and is intended to support the natural protection of the vaginal microflora when it is weakened.

The manufacturer lists situations in which the balance of the vaginal flora can be disturbed: antibiotic therapy, frequent use of tampons, contraception, pregnancy and childbirth. For goods ordered up to 5.000,00 RSD, delivery charge is 350.00 RSD (VAT included). For goods over 5.000,00 RSD, shipping is free of charge.
