How do the PharmaS UriRoyal ingredients work?

D-mannose is a simple sugar that is largely eliminated through the urine. Within the urinary tract, it may bind to surface structures of certain Escherichia coli strains, reducing their ability to remain attached to the bladder lining.

Saccharomyces boulardii I-3799 is a beneficial yeast culture that supports the balance of the intestinal microbiota. This may be particularly relevant during and after antibiotic use, when the normal intestinal flora may become disrupted.

Streptococcus thermophilus HA-110 is present in a tyndallised, heat-inactivated form. This postbiotic component complements the combination of D-mannose and S. boulardii.

Who is the product intended for?

Adults and children over three years of age who require nutritional support during uncomplicated or recurrent urinary discomfort associated with E. coli. Recurrent symptoms should not be treated blindly without urine testing and identification of the cause.

Directions for use and precautions

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 100 ml of water and drink immediately after preparation. Evening use before bedtime, on an empty stomach and after emptying the bladder, is recommended. Do not drink additional water immediately afterwards.

Adults and children over 7 years: 1 sachet daily.
Children aged 3–7 years: 1/2 sachet daily.
For uncomplicated E. coli-related discomfort: use for 3–7 days.
For recurrent discomfort: according to the manufacturer, it may be used for up to three months under medical or pharmaceutical guidance.

Important information

UriRoyal is not an antibiotic and cannot replace prescribed antibiotic treatment.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
People with diabetes should seek medical advice before prolonged D-mannose use.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
Severely ill or significantly immunocompromised people and those with a central venous catheter should not use products containing S. boulardii without explicit medical advice.
Seek prompt medical attention in case of fever, chills, blood in the urine, flank pain, nausea, vomiting or worsening symptoms.

Pharmacist’s advice

D-mannose may provide useful support when urinary discomfort is associated with certain E. coli strains, but it is not equally relevant for every possible urinary pathogen. Do not continue self-treatment when symptoms persist, recur or are accompanied by fever or kidney-area pain. Medical assessment, urine analysis and, when appropriate, a urine culture may be required.

For goods ordered up to 5.000,00 RSD, delivery charge is 260.00 RSD (VAT included). For goods over 5.000,00 RSD, shipping is free of charge.

Shipping cost is with tax. The price includes the delivery of the parcel to the buyer's address with the associated tax and customs at the seller's expense. A possible additional cost may be a customs charge against the buyer, depending on the country to which the package is being shipped.
