What is LactoSpore®?

LactoSpore® is a branded preparation of Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856. Bacillus coagulans is a spore-forming bacterial culture, which distinguishes it from many conventional bacterial cultures used in supplements.

The manufacturer highlights the stability of this spore-forming culture during processing, storage and exposure to challenging conditions in the digestive tract.

Chicory inulin

Each capsule also provides 150 mg of natural chicory inulin. Inulin is a plant-derived polysaccharide that is not digested in the upper gastrointestinal tract and reaches the large intestine largely undigested.
