OstroVit Isotonic 500 g is a powdered food supplement for preparing a sports drink containing electrolytes, glucose, vitamins, BCAA, L-carnitine tartrate and L-glutamine. It is intended for adult athletes and physically active people looking for a convenient drink during exercise.

OstroVit Isotonic may be particularly convenient during longer or more demanding physical activity when a drink containing carbohydrates and electrolytes is preferred rather than plain water alone.

For short, low-intensity exercise, plain water is sufficient for many healthy adults. Electrolyte needs vary with exercise duration and intensity, temperature, sweat losses and overall diet.

Prepare the drink according to the manufacturer's ratio of 10 g in 300 ml water.

This sports supplement should not be confused with a medically formulated oral rehydration solution (ORS) used for clinically important fluid loss caused by vomiting or diarrhoea.
