HydraFizz Hydra – 16 effervescent tablets is a food supplement containing electrolytes, glucose and vitamin C, developed for adults who want practical hydration support during hot weather, physical activity, increased sweating and travel.

The formula combines four important electrolytes – sodium, potassium, chloride and magnesium. Sodium and glucose work together to support water absorption, while magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance, reduction of tiredness and normal muscle function. Vitamin C contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal immune-system function and protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Ingredients: sugar, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, magnesium citrate, natural flavour, polyethylene glycol, vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), sucralose and Ponceau 4R (E124).

Directions: dissolve 2 effervescent tablets in 200 ml of water, allow them to dissolve completely and drink. Recommended daily serving: 2 tablets.

Pharmacist's advice: HydraFizz Hydra is primarily intended as everyday electrolyte and hydration support during heat, sweating, exercise or travel. It should not automatically be considered equivalent to a standard oral rehydration solution used for substantial fluid loss from diarrhoea or vomiting, particularly in children, older people or patients with chronic disease.
