CURAPROX Plaquefinder – 20 tablets are plaque-disclosing tablets designed to reveal dental plaque and areas that have not been cleaned thoroughly enough. After chewing, the tablet stains deposits on the teeth and makes it easy to see where additional brushing or interdental cleaning is required.

Plaquefinder uses a two-colour plaque detection system: newly formed plaque appears red, while older, more structured plaque appears blue. This helps users not only identify where deposits remain but also recognise areas that have repeatedly been missed during oral hygiene.

Directions: place one tablet in the mouth and chew slowly for approximately 30 seconds, using the tongue to distribute the contents over the teeth. Spit out the remaining material and saliva. Examine the teeth: red areas indicate newer plaque and blue areas indicate older deposits.

After checking, carefully clean the stained areas again using an appropriate toothbrush and clean the interdental spaces with a suitable interdental brush or dental floss.

Important: these tablets reveal soft dental plaque; they do not remove plaque or dental calculus. Spit out after use and do not swallow. The colouring may temporarily stain the tongue or oral mucosa.
