CURAPROX Perio Plus Forte CHX 0.20% – 200 ml is an intensive mouth rinse with 0.20% chlorhexidine digluconate, designed for short-term chemical plaque control when enhanced oral hygiene is required, particularly before and after invasive dental procedures.

The formula combines chlorhexidine with the Citrox®/P system, consisting of bioflavonoids from bitter orange and polylysine, together with xylitol and a VP/VA copolymer. VP/VA forms a protective film over the teeth, gums and oral mucosa, helping prolong contact of the formula with oral surfaces.

Perio Plus Forte contains the highest CHX concentration in the Perio Plus range and is intended for short-term, targeted use under dental guidance, rather than unrestricted everyday use.

INCI: Aqua, Xylitol, Polysorbate 20, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Aroma, Phenoxyethanol, VP/VA Copolymer, Sucralose, Cetylpyridinium Chloride, Citric Acid, Citrus Aurantium Amara Fruit Extract, Glycerin, Polyepsilon-Lysine, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Chloride.

Directions: rinse with 10 ml of undiluted mouthwash for 60 seconds, then spit out. Do not swallow.

Before a dental procedure: use immediately before the procedure according to dental advice.

After a procedure: use morning and evening for 3–7 days, unless your dentist recommends otherwise.

Pharmacist's advice: Perio Plus Forte is not a conventional mouthwash for unrestricted long-term daily use. Use it for a limited period and preferably on your dentist's recommendation. Chlorhexidine may cause temporary staining of teeth, tongue or deposits. Coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco and strongly pigmented foods may increase this effect. CHX mouthwash is an adjunct to oral hygiene and does not replace effective brushing and interdental cleaning.
