Curaprox Perio Plus Regenerate CHX 0.09% – 200 ml is a specialised mouthwash for short-term intensive care of the gums and oral mucosa, particularly during recovery after dental and oral surgical procedures.

The formula combines 0.09% chlorhexidine digluconate with hyaluronic acid and Citrox®/P. Chlorhexidine provides chemical plaque control when normal mechanical cleaning is temporarily difficult, while hyaluronic acid is included to support the hydration and recovery of the oral mucosa.

Citrox®/P combines bitter-orange bioflavonoids with polylysine, while the VP/VA copolymer forms a protective film on the teeth, gums and oral mucosa. The mouthwash is alcohol-free and is intended for time-limited use according to dental advice.

INCI: Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Gluconate, Xylitol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hyaluronate, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Aroma, Cyclodextrin, Phenoxyethanol, VP/VA Copolymer, Sucralose, Lactic Acid, Cetylpyridinium Chloride, Disodium Phosphate, Sodium Phosphate, Citric Acid, Citrus Aurantium Amara Fruit Extract, Glycerin, Polylysine, Sodium Chloride.

Directions: rinse with 10 ml undiluted mouthwash for 60 seconds, morning and evening, then spit out. Do not swallow. Curaprox recommends use for up to one month unless your dentist advises otherwise.

Pharmacist's advice: Perio Plus Regenerate is not a standard mouthwash for unrestricted long-term daily use. Use it as targeted short-term care, preferably according to your dentist's instructions. Chlorhexidine does not replace toothbrushing or interdental cleaning. During a CHX regimen, an SLS-free toothpaste such as Curaprox Enzycal is preferable because some anionic toothpaste ingredients may interfere with chlorhexidine.

Important: for oral use only. Do not swallow. Chlorhexidine products may cause temporary staining of teeth, tongue or existing deposits and temporary taste changes. Tea, coffee, red wine, tobacco and strongly pigmented foods may increase staining. Persistent swelling, pain, pus, bleeding, fever or other signs of complications after a dental procedure require dental assessment.
