Who are Curaprox CPS 09 prime interdental brushes for?

Curaprox CPS 09 prime are interdental brushes from the Swiss manufacturer Curaprox for cleaning wide spaces between the teeth. The pack contains five brushes. With a passage diameter of 0.9 mm and an effective cleaning diameter of 4.0 mm, the CPS 09 is one of the larger sizes in the Curaprox CPS prime range (only the CPS 011 is larger). The CPS 09 prime is colour-coded yellow.

A toothbrush cleans only the outer, inner and chewing surfaces of the teeth – it cannot reach the spaces between them, where plaque collects most easily. Interdental brushes are designed precisely for these spaces. CPS prime brushes are built around a thin but strong surgical wire and ultra-fine, extra-long filaments that open up in the gap like an umbrella and fill it.

Thanks to this construction, Curaprox says that a single movement – once in and once out – is enough to clean each space. The brushes use the Curaprox click system and fit all Curaprox interdental holders, so you keep the handle and replace only the brush.

How to clean between the teeth with CPS prime brushes:

• Attach the brush to a Curaprox holder (click system).
• Gently insert the brush into the space between the teeth, close to the gum line, without force.
• Move it once in and once out – a single controlled movement per space is enough.
• Rinse the brush thoroughly after cleaning and let it dry.
• Clean once a day; it can be done before or after brushing, as long as it is done daily.
