Sinoderm N 0.25 mg/g + 3.3 mg/g ointment contains two active substances: fluocinolone acetonide and neomycin.
Fluocinolone acetonide is a topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness and itching. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic active against certain bacteria. The medicine is used for inflammatory, allergic and itchy skin disorders such as eczema and dermatitis when accompanied by a susceptible bacterial infection.

Sinoderm N – what is it used for and how should it be applied?
A small amount of ointment is generally applied to the affected area two or three times daily and gently rubbed into the skin.
- Apply only a thin layer to the prescribed area.
- Wash your hands after use unless the hands are being treated.
- Avoid the eyes, eyelids, mouth and mucous membranes.
- Do not apply a larger amount or cover a larger area than prescribed.
- Do not mix the ointment with another topical product during the same application.
Treatment generally lasts no longer than seven days. When used on the face or in a child over one year of age, treatment is normally limited to five days, unless the doctor determines otherwise.
Do not use Sinoderm N for longer or more frequently than prescribed. Prolonged corticosteroid use may cause thinning of the skin, stretch marks, visible small blood vessels and a rebound reaction after treatment is stopped.
Neomycin may be absorbed through damaged skin or large denuded areas. Prolonged use may increase the risk of kidney or hearing damage, particularly in older patients or people with impaired kidney function.
Do not apply to large wounds, burns or extensively damaged skin without explicit medical instructions.
Do not use Sinoderm N:
- if you are allergic to fluocinolone acetonide, neomycin or another ingredient;
- when a primary bacterial, viral or fungal infection is the main cause of the skin lesion;
- for acne, rosacea or perioral dermatitis;
- for nappy rash;
- in children under one year of age;
- in the ear canal if the eardrum is perforated;
- in or immediately around the eyes.
Waterproof or occlusive dressings may significantly increase absorption. They must not be used on the face or in children and may be used in adults only when specifically recommended by a doctor.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
During pregnancy, use the smallest effective amount on a limited area and for the shortest possible period, only after medical assessment.
Do not apply the ointment to the breasts immediately before breastfeeding. The infant must not come into contact with treated skin.
Possible side effects
- itching, burning or irritation at the application site;
- allergic skin reaction;
- worsening acne, rosacea or perioral dermatitis;
- changes in skin pigmentation;
- increased local hair growth;
- skin thinning, visible surface blood vessels and stretch marks;
- spread of an infection or development of another infection;
- rebound redness, burning, itching or peeling after prolonged use is stopped.
- swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat;
- difficulty breathing or swallowing;
- a rapidly spreading rash or blistering;
- markedly worsening redness, pain, swelling or purulent discharge;
- fever with a spreading skin infection;
- ringing in the ears or a sudden change in hearing;
- markedly reduced urination or generalised swelling.
Storage
- Store below 25°C in the original packaging.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- Use within 30 days of first opening.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
Composition: each gram contains 0.25 mg fluocinolone acetonide and 3.3 mg neomycin as neomycin sulphate. The ointment also contains propylene glycol, which may irritate the skin.
Clean and dry the affected area gently before applying a thin layer. A larger amount will not produce faster recovery and may increase adverse effects.
Do not mix Sinoderm N with an emollient or another cream in the same application. Ask a doctor or pharmacist how to separate the application times.
Do not automatically restart treatment if the redness returns shortly after stopping, particularly when it spreads beyond the original area or is accompanied by burning and peeling.

For all orders received up to 12h from Monday to Friday, the approximate delivery time is 2-4 business days for the whole territory of the Republic of Serbia. In case the order is placed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), the delivery is done as well as for the orders received on Monday - so next business day.
Deliveries are not made on Saturdays and Sundays.
Additional information
The items will be packed so that they cannot be damaged by normal handling of the goods in transit. When picking up the product, the buyer is obliged to check for any damage and immediately advertise it to the courier who delivered the goods, or refuse to take over the shipment, which shows the external damage. Any subsequent product claims for shipping damage will not be considered.
When picking up the product, the customer is required to sign the delivery note taken by the Daily Express delivery worker. The delivery note is considered to be a receipt and delivery note.
The courier service delivers the goods to the address, ie. does not bring into the living space.

Delivery of items purchased on the site www.apotekaonline.rs is made exclusively through the Daily Express courier service in the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Delivery outside the territory of the Republic of Serbia, ie export of goods, is done exclusively through the service of DHL and PostExport Post of Serbia.

For goods ordered up to 5.000,00 RSD, delivery charge is 260.00 RSD (VAT included). For goods over 5.000,00 RSD, shipping is free of charge.

For the export of goods abroad through the PostExport service of Post of Serbia, the shipping price is for:
- Zone I (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia) - 1,280.00 RSD

For export of goods abroad through DHL service, the shipping price is 2,700.00 RSD. Delivery time is 1-5 business days (depending on the country of delivery)
Shipping cost is with tax. The price includes the delivery of the parcel to the buyer's address with the associated tax and customs at the seller's expense. A possible additional cost may be a customs charge against the buyer, depending on the country to which the package is being shipped.
