How do the ingredients work?

Black elderberry extract
Black elderberry fruit (Sambucus nigra) naturally contains plant compounds characteristic of dark-coloured berries. One gummy contains 50 mg of dry black elderberry fruit extract, DER 18:1.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the protection of cells from oxidative stress, normal energy metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It also increases iron absorption.

Zinc
Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the protection of cells from oxidative stress and normal DNA and protein synthesis.

Ingredients

Ingredients: glucose syrup, sucrose, porcine gelatine, purified water, black elderberry fruit extract (Sambucus nigra), citric acid, vitamin C – L-ascorbic acid, carrot and cherry concentrate as colouring, zinc sulphate, maltodextrin, natural raspberry flavour, palm oil, beeswax and carnauba wax as glazing agents, and mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids as an emulsifier.

Ingredient information: the product contains sugars, glucose syrup, porcine gelatine and beeswax. It is therefore not suitable for vegan or vegetarian diets or for people who avoid porcine gelatine for religious or other reasons.

Directions for use

Children over three years of age: chew one to two gummies daily.

The gummy should be chewed thoroughly before swallowing. Give the product only to a child who is able to chew gummies independently and safely.

The product contains sugars, so it is best given with or immediately after a meal, rather than before bedtime after brushing the teeth. Regular oral hygiene is especially important during daily use of gummy supplements.

Do not give SAMBUCUS Kids syrup and gummies at the same time. The products have a similar purpose and combining them unnecessarily duplicates ingredients. Choose the format that best suits the child’s age and habits.
