How does Rexona Aloe Vera spray protect against sweat and body odour?

Rexona Aloe Vera is an antiperspirant spray from Rexona's women's range, in a larger 200 ml can. Unlike a plain deodorant, which only masks odour, an antiperspirant contains an aluminium salt that reduces the amount of underarm sweat and therefore the formation of unpleasant odour.

For the current European version (Advanced Protection, 200 ml) the manufacturer states a patented antiperspirant technology activated by body heat and protection against wetness and odour for up to 72 hours. The formula is alcohol-free (0% alcohol), and according to the manufacturer the packaging is mostly recyclable.

The name "Aloe Vera" refers to the scent: the spray has a fresh, pleasant fragrance inspired by aloe vera (retailers describe it as "Aloe Vera Scent"). Important notes
