Probotanic Apricot Kernel Oil 20 ml is a 100% pure, organic and cold-pressed plant oil for the daily care of the face, body, hair, nails and cuticles.
Its lightweight emollient texture helps soften dry skin and reduce sensations of tightness. It can be used alone or applied over a moisturising serum or cream to help retain moisture in the skin.
It is particularly suitable for dry, sensitive and mature skin requiring additional lipid care. A small amount may also be applied to dry hair lengths and ends.
The product is supplied in a 20 ml glass bottle with a glass dropper for precise and hygienic dosing.

How to use on the face
- Cleanse the face with a suitable gentle cleanser.
- Apply a moisturising serum or leave the skin slightly damp.
- Place two or three drops in the palm of the hand.
- Gently press the oil into the face, neck and décolleté.
- Use once or twice daily according to the needs of the skin.
How to use on the body and hair
- apply a small amount to slightly damp skin after showering;
- use one or two drops on dry or damp hair ends;
- for pre-shampoo care, apply a small amount for 30–60 minutes and wash thoroughly;
- use sparingly on fine hair to avoid weighing it down;
- massage one drop into the nails and cuticles when needed.

Pharmacist’s advice
Plant oils work best when applied to slightly damp skin or over a moisturising serum. They do not add water to the skin but may help reduce moisture loss.
Two or three drops are usually sufficient for the face. Excessive use may leave a greasy layer or contribute to clogged pores in some users.
For acne-prone skin, test the oil on a limited area for several days. Stop facial use if the number of blemishes increases.
On the hair, apply primarily to lengths and ends. The oil may soften the hair but is not a treatment for hair loss.
Do not ingest the product as an alternative cancer treatment. Apricot kernels may contain amygdalin, which can be converted into toxic cyanide during digestion.
Persistent itching, eczema, sores, severe flaking or sudden hair loss requires professional assessment.
