PHYTO COLOR Color Extend Mask 200 ml is an intensive treatment for colour-treated, toned, bleached and highlighted hair requiring repair, softness and longer-lasting colour intensity and radiance.

Colouring and lightening may increase hair porosity, leaving the lengths rougher, drier and more prone to fading. The rich mask coats sensitised hair, supports easier detangling and leaves the lengths looking smoother, stronger and shinier.

A rice peptide complex helps retain pigments inside the hair fibre. Antioxidant tara tannins and sunflower sprout extract help protect colour against external stressors and pigment degradation.

Karanja oil intensely nourishes and helps repair hair sensitised by colour treatments, while organic white mallow extract enhances shine. Shea butter contributes to softness and comfort in dry, porous lengths.

The formula contains 97% ingredients of natural origin and is silicone-free, PEG-free and colourant-free. Apply to the lengths after shampooing, leave on for 5–7 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Pharmacist’s advice

Choose a mask according to the condition of the lengths and ends rather than the oiliness of the scalp. An oily scalp with dry coloured lengths requires shampoo at the roots and a mask only from the mid-lengths downwards.

Remove excess water before application. When the hair is dripping wet, the mask becomes diluted and has less direct contact with sensitised lengths.

Begin with a hazelnut-sized amount on fine hair. Excessive use or root application may leave the hair looking flat and heavy.

Use lukewarm water and a dedicated heat protectant before blow-drying, straightening or curling. High temperatures may accelerate dryness, loss of shine and colour changes.

The mask helps maintain existing colour but does not cover regrowth or grey hair and cannot restore pigment that has already significantly faded.
