PharmaS Hartikol Metabolic, 30 capsules, is a food supplement combining banaba leaf extract, chromium, choline, policosanol and thiamine, also known as vitamin B1. The formula is intended for adults seeking additional nutritional support for normal glucose and lipid metabolism.

How do the Hartikol Metabolic ingredients work?

Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. It is present as chromium picolinate, providing 40 µg of chromium per capsule.

Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa) is a plant whose leaves naturally contain corosolic acid. Hartikol Metabolic provides 50 mg of dry banaba leaf extract standardised to 1% corosolic acid.

Choline contributes to normal lipid and homocysteine metabolism and to the maintenance of normal liver function. Each capsule provides 82.5 mg of choline.

Thiamine, or vitamin B1, contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, nervous system function and normal heart function.

Policosanol is a mixture of long-chain fatty alcohols of plant origin. It is included in the formula at 34 mg per capsule as part of the glucose and lipid metabolism complex.

Who is the product intended for?

Adults who, together with a balanced diet, regular physical activity and appropriate laboratory monitoring, require additional nutritional support for glucose and lipid metabolism. The product is not a medicine and does not replace treatment for insulin resistance, prediabetes, diabetes or abnormal blood lipid levels.
