ESI Fermental – 15 capsules is a food supplement combining five lactic-acid bacterial cultures, concentrated Aloe vera extract and B-group vitamins. It is intended to support the balance of intestinal microflora during periods when it may be disturbed by dietary changes, travel or antibiotic use.

Each capsule provides at least 2 billion microorganisms from a combination of Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Lactobacillus bulgaricus. The formula also contains 20 mg of Aloe vera 200:1 extract together with vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6, B12 and niacin.

According to the Serbian-market declaration, the bacterial cultures are incorporated using the Gastroguard formulation concept, designed to support their passage through the acidic gastric environment.

Directions: take 1 capsule daily between meals with a glass of water. When used during antibiotic therapy, leave an interval of at least 2 hours between the antibiotic and Fermental.

A probiotic supplement does not replace an antibiotic or treatment of the underlying cause of diarrhoea.
