What does Dove Go Fresh Fresh Touch antiperspirant spray smell like and how long does it protect?

Dove Go Fresh Fresh Touch is an antiperspirant spray from the Dove Go Fresh line, recognisable by its refreshing cucumber and green tea scent. The manufacturer states protection against sweat and unpleasant odour for up to 48 hours, with a formula that lets the skin "breathe".

Like other Dove antiperspirants, it contains ¼ moisturising cream, which softens underarm skin and helps reduce irritation and dryness after shaving. The formula is dermatologically tested. In some markets the same variant is sold as Go Fresh Cucumber & Green Tea.

Thanks to its light, green and fresh scent, this variant is a popular choice for warmer days and for activities after which you want a feeling of freshness. The 150 ml can is the standard size of Dove sprays.

How to use

Shake the can well before each use. Hold the spray about 15 cm from the underarm and spray for about two seconds on each underarm, onto clean, dry skin.

Who is it for?

The antiperspirant is intended for adults who like fresh, green scents and want all-day protection against sweat and odour, together with care for underarm skin that is sensitive to shaving.

Important notes

Do not apply to broken skin. Stop using it if a rash or irritation occurs.
Avoid direct inhalation; spray in short bursts in a well-ventilated area and do not spray near the eyes.
Extremely flammable pressurised aerosol: keep away from heat, sparks and open flames, protect from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C, and do not pierce or burn the can, even when empty.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Pharmacist's advice:

Scent and sweat protection are not the same thing: a refreshing scent masks odour, but it is the aluminium salt in the antiperspirant that works against wetness. That is why the most important thing is to apply the spray to dry skin and give it time to work – ideally in the evening or in the morning after a shower, once the skin is completely dry.

If the scent is too strong for you or your skin reacts to it, do not layer perfume over the antiperspirant – choose one scent instead. If a rash or redness appears, stop using it.
