Dietpharm Cyclon Wound Spray – 125 ml is a medical device in the form of a protective spray-on powder for local care and protection of damaged skin and different types of wounds. Its formula combines TIAB technology with silver ions, kaolin and sodium hyaluronate to create a homogeneous protective layer and support suitable local conditions for natural skin repair.

The spray format is particularly practical when contact-free application is desirable on painful or sensitive areas. Kaolin absorbs excess exudate and contributes to the physical barrier, while sodium hyaluronate helps maintain an appropriately hydrated local environment during epithelialisation.

TIAB consists of titanium-dioxide microcrystals with bound monovalent silver ions. This system provides antimicrobial protection at the application site while the powder formulation allows the treated area to be covered without rubbing.

Composition: TIAB – titanium-dioxide microcrystals covalently bound to monovalent silver ions, kaolin, sodium hyaluronate, silicon dioxide. Propellant: LPG.

Directions: carefully clean and dry the affected area. Shake the container thoroughly. Apply a thin, even layer of powder only to the affected area. Do not rub or massage after application. Repeat twice daily, or follow the medical-device instructions and professional advice.

Pack: 125 ml pressurised aerosol.

Pharmacist's advice: for a minor superficial wound, begin by cleaning the area correctly and assessing whether home care is appropriate. Cyclon is useful when you want to avoid touching the wound because it is applied as a powder and should not be rubbed in. Deep wounds, heavy discharge, unpleasant odour, spreading redness, swelling, severe pain, fever, advanced pressure sores or any wound in a person with diabetes require medical assessment. Do not layer several wound-care or antiseptic products on the same site without professional advice.
