CURAPROX Hydrosonic Black Is White is a sonic electric toothbrush combining powerful sonic cleaning with ultra-fine CUREN® filaments coated with activated-carbon particles. It is designed for thorough everyday plaque removal and gentle reduction of external tooth staining.

The special Carbon brush heads help remove surface discolouration caused by coffee, tea, food and similar sources without conventional chemical bleaching. The small droplet-shaped head and characteristic CuraCurve® bend make it easier to reach posterior teeth, the gumline and other difficult areas.

Hydrosonic technology moves the filaments at high speed and creates a hydrodynamic effect in the mixture of water, saliva and toothpaste. This supports cleaning beyond the areas directly touched by the filaments.

Cleaning modes: Start provides a gentler intensity, Clean is intended for regular everyday brushing, while Smile provides the highest intensity for thorough cleaning and removal of surface staining.

Carbon brush head: ultra-fine CUREN® filaments with activated-carbon particles help lift external discolouration without aggressive scrubbing. This is not the same as professional tooth bleaching and does not change the natural internal colour of teeth.

Directions: wet the brush head and apply a small amount of toothpaste. Position the filaments along the tooth and gumline, select the preferred cleaning mode and guide the brush slowly from tooth to tooth. Strong pressure and large scrubbing movements are unnecessary.

For complete daily oral hygiene, brush twice daily for approximately two minutes and clean interdental spaces separately with an appropriately sized interdental brush or floss.

Brush-head replacement: approximately every three months or sooner if the filaments become visibly worn or deformed.

Compatibility: the Hydrosonic Black Is White handle is compatible with CURAPROX Hydrosonic Carbon, Power, Sensitive and Single brush heads.

Pharmacist's advice: sonic brushing does not require heavy pressure. Guide the brush slowly along each tooth and the gumline and allow the filaments and sonic movement to do the work. For highly sensitive gums, a gentler setting and Hydrosonic Sensitive brush head may be more comfortable. Single heads can be useful around implants, orthodontic appliances and areas requiring highly precise cleaning.

No. The handle is compatible with the full CURAPROX Hydrosonic brush-head range.

Is it suitable for sensitive gums?
Yes, when used with light pressure. A Sensitive brush head and gentler cleaning level may be preferable for particularly sensitive gums.
