Babybiane HMO 40 sachets is a food for special medical purposes from the French manufacturer PiLeJe, specially formulated for the nutritional needs of non-breastfed infants from birth to six months of age.

Each sachet provides 300 mg of 2’-fucosyllactose – 2’-FL. 2’-FL belongs to the group of human milk oligosaccharides known as HMOs, which occur naturally in breast milk. Babybiane HMO must be used under medical supervision and does not replace breast milk, infant formula or a complete feed.

Directions and important information

Directions: use one sachet in the morning and one sachet in the evening. Dissolve each sachet in a separate bottle containing at least 90 ml of correctly prepared infant formula.

Important dosing rule: add only one sachet to each bottle. Do not place two sachets in the same feed.

Recommended course: two sachets daily for 20 days. Repeat only following professional advice.

Do not mix with breast milk: the product is specially formulated for non-breastfed infants or infants transitioning from breastfeeding to formula feeding.

Check the infant-formula composition: do not use Babybiane HMO when the formula already contains 2’-FL or another source of the same oligosaccharide.

Premature infants: not suitable until the infant can consume a bottle containing at least 90 ml of formula. Use in a premature infant requires explicit medical advice.

Medical supervision: the product must be used under medical supervision. It is not suitable as the sole source of nutrition and is not intended for parenteral use.

Breastfeeding: breast milk is the best food for infants. Decisions about introducing or changing infant formula should be made with a qualified healthcare professional.

Hypersensitivity: do not give to an infant with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to an ingredient. The product contains an ingredient derived from lactose.

Seek medical advice: for vomiting, feeding refusal, poor weight gain, marked abdominal distension, blood in the stool, rash, breathing difficulty or another unusual symptom.
