Who is Vigantolvit Vitamin D3 2000 IU for and how is it taken?

Vigantolvit® Vitamin D3 2000 IU is a food supplement for adults in the form of small, easy-to-swallow soft capsules. Each capsule contains 50 µg (2000 IU) of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), which is 1000% of the nutrient reference value (NRV). The product comes from WICK Pharma, a branch of Procter & Gamble in Germany.

Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function, to normal absorption of calcium and to the process of cell division. The body produces vitamin D in the skin under the influence of sunlight, but in autumn and winter, with little time spent outdoors or with consistent sun protection, this production is often limited.

The vitamin D3 is dissolved in medium-chain triglycerides (MCT oil from coconut and palm oil), as vitamin D is fat-soluble. The capsules are free from gluten and lactose and contain no ingredients of pork origin. One pack of 60 capsules lasts for two months at one capsule a day.
