Vesicare was a medicine in film-coated tablets containing solifenacin succinate, 5 mg or 10 mg per tablet. Solifenacin relaxes the bladder muscle, so the bladder can hold more urine and the frequency of urination is reduced. The marketing authorisation holder was the Representative Office of Astellas Pharma Belgrade, and the medicine was available on prescription.
According to the last summary of product characteristics approved in Serbia, Vesicare was used for symptoms of an overactive bladder. All information on this page comes from the official documents listed in the sources.

Pharmacist's advice
If you were using Vesicare, ask your doctor to prescribe a registered solifenacin medicine – the same active substance makes it easier to continue treatment, but the choice of strength is up to the doctor.
Dry mouth is the most common side effect of solifenacin: frequent sips of water, a mouth-moisturising gel or spray and regular oral hygiene help.
Availability and price
Vesicare is not marketed in Serbia and cannot be bought in pharmacies, including ApotekaOnline. No price is available because the medicine has no valid authorisation.
