Evdermia Sandal Shampoo is a shampoo from the Greek dermocosmetic brand Evdermia, designed for oily hair and a scalp prone to oiliness. With this hair type the sebaceous glands produce more sebum, so the hair looks flat and greasy just a day after washing, and the scalp may be prone to flaking and discomfort. It therefore benefits from a shampoo that cleanses thoroughly yet is mild enough for frequent washing.
The formula combines plant ingredients – nettle leaf extract, ginseng, white willow bark water and sandalwood oil, after which the shampoo is named – with sea salt, carbocysteine (a derivative of the amino acid cysteine) and yeast extract. Panthenol (provitamin B5) and glycerin care for and hydrate the hair, and conditioning ingredients make combing easier, so the hair feels clean, light and fresh after washing.

Wash oily hair with lukewarm water, as hot water stimulates sebum production. Apply the shampoo to the scalp and massage with your fingertips, not your nails; the manufacturer recommends leaving it on for about three minutes before rinsing and then repeating the wash.
If you use a conditioner, apply it only to the lengths and ends, never to the scalp. Avoid touching your hair frequently and wash your comb and brush regularly. If dandruff, redness or itching of the scalp is pronounced and does not go away, consult a dermatologist.
