ProstART DUO 30 capsules is a food supplement for adult men combining saw palmetto fruit extract, pumpkin seed extract, lycopene and zinc. The formula is intended for nutritional support of prostate health, the male urinary system and normal testosterone levels in the blood.

Each capsule contains 240 mg of dry saw palmetto fruit extract standardised to 30% total fatty acids, 100 mg of pumpkin seed extract, 10 mg of lycopene and 10 mg of zinc.

Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood, normal fertility and reproduction, normal immune system function and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

It contains a rational combination of botanical ingredients and zinc, but expectations should remain realistic: clinical evidence for saw palmetto is inconsistent, and not every user will experience an improvement in urinary symptoms.

Claims that lycopene or zinc prevent prostate cancer should be rejected. The product does not replace a PSA test, digital rectal examination, ultrasound or urological follow-up.

New or progressive urinary symptoms should be assessed to determine their cause. A weak stream, night-time urination and incomplete emptying may be related to an enlarged prostate, but also to infection, urethral narrowing, impaired bladder function or another condition.

Reducing fluids immediately before bedtime, limiting evening alcohol and caffeine and avoiding prolonged postponement of urination may help. Total daily water intake should not be deliberately restricted.
