How to play and care

Each player leads a pirate crew of one colour and sets off from the harbour. Throwing the wooden die decides how far the figures move, and the winner is the first player to bring all their pirates to the island – just like in classic Ludo.

After a round, put the pirates and the die back into the 7616-1 wooden box and close the clasp. Wipe the board and figures with a dry or slightly damp cloth.

Who is it for?

Retailers recommend the pirate version of Pino Ludo for children over 4 years and for adults, as a game the family plays together.

Important notes

  • Age mark for the 7616-1 game: 4 years and up – younger children should not play with the small pirate figures and the die unsupervised.
  • Before playing, check that the wooden figures and the clasp of the pirate box are undamaged.
  • Count the 16 pirates after each round so that no figure goes missing.

Pharmacist's advice:

In a game of chance such as pirate Ludo, it helps children when adults say beforehand that being knocked back is part of the game; after play, keep the small pirates and the die out of reach of younger siblings.
