OstroVit Astaxanthin FORTE 4 mg, 90 capsules is a food supplement providing natural astaxanthin obtained from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. One capsule contains 80 mg of natural 5% astaxanthin oil, providing 4 mg of astaxanthin.

Astaxanthin belongs to the carotenoid family and occurs naturally in certain microalgae and marine organisms. Unlike beta-carotene, astaxanthin is not converted into vitamin A in the human body. OstroVit Astaxanthin FORTE provides a simple once-daily source of this carotenoid.
