What does lutein represent in this formula?

Lutein is a carotenoid naturally present in eye tissues, including the macular region of the retina. The body does not produce sufficient amounts of lutein, so it is obtained through food or supplements.

Nutriversum Eye Complex provides 10mg lutein in one tablet. According to the current declaration, the product does not contain zeaxanthin, which is important when comparing it with other eye-support formulas.

Vitamin A, B2 and zinc – nutritional support for normal vision

Vitamin A, riboflavin or vitamin B2, and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal vision.

Zinc also contributes to normal vitamin A metabolism, while vitamins C and E, zinc and selenium contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Note regarding the Serbian-market declaration

The current Nutriversum declaration lists 800µg vitamin A per tablet and includes retinyl acetate in the ingredient list. The Serbian Lama page currently displays 697µg vitamin A as 100% NRV and does not list retinyl acetate among the ingredients.

Because these public data are not fully aligned, the physical Serbian label of the specific batch should always take priority for regulatory product data.

Directions

  • take 1 tablet daily;
  • take the tablet with a meal;
  • consume with sufficient fluid;
  • do not exceed the recommended daily intake;
  • if the physical label of the specific batch states otherwise, follow the pack declaration.

Who may find it suitable?

  • adults seeking nutritional support for normal vision;
  • people who want 10mg lutein in one daily tablet;
  • users looking for a combination of vitamins A, B2, C and E with zinc and selenium;
  • people who spend long periods working at a computer and want to supplement their diet with micronutrients relevant to normal vision;
  • users who prefer one daily tablet instead of several separate supplements.

Eye Complex is not a treatment for dry or tired eyes

A food supplement does not replace appropriate eye drops, vision correction or an ophthalmological examination. Prolonged screen use is often associated with less frequent and incomplete blinking, which can contribute to drying of the ocular surface.

If the main problem is burning, a gritty sensation, redness or eye dryness, eye-surface care and assessment of the cause should be considered rather than expecting a vitamin supplement to directly relieve the symptoms.

Important information

  • food supplements should not replace a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle;
  • do not exceed the recommended daily intake;
  • if you use a multivitamin or another product containing vitamin A, zinc or selenium, check the total daily intake;
  • pregnant and breastfeeding women and those planning pregnancy should pay particular attention to total preformed vitamin A intake from all sources and consult a doctor or pharmacist when appropriate;
  • the product cannot correct refractive error and does not replace an ophthalmological examination;
  • sudden deterioration of vision, significant eye pain, newly appearing flashes, numerous floaters or a shadow in the visual field requires urgent ophthalmological assessment;
  • keep out of reach of young children;
  • manufactured in a facility processing gluten, milk, soy, eggs and nuts.

Pharmacist's advice

The advantage of Nutriversum Eye Complex is that one tablet combines 10mg lutein with vitamin A, riboflavin, zinc and antioxidant micronutrients.

During computer work, supplementation does not replace practical habits: take short breaks, occasionally look into the distance, consciously blink fully several times and avoid direct airflow from air conditioning or fans towards the face.

If you already use a multivitamin product, check its vitamin A, zinc and selenium content before combining the products to avoid unnecessary duplication.

For persistent dryness, pain, redness or changes in vision, supplementation is not a substitute for examination and targeted eye care.
