Mustela Soothing Cleansing Gel (300ml) is a fragrance-free, soap-free hypoallergenic bath designed for the daily hygiene of the face, body, and hair of babies with extremely sensitive skin. This mild 2-in-1 gel effectively removes impurities while soothing the minor redness, tingling, and tightness that often result from the drying effects of hard water.

Its innovative formula is based on a patented natural extract of Schisandra, a rare berry clinically proven to soothe reactive skin and improve its appearance. Combined with the Avocado Perseose® protective complex, the gel deeply hydrates and strengthens the newborn's immature skin barrier, leaving the skin perfectly soft and the hair silky.

Pharmacist's advice

Bathing a baby with very sensitive skin should not last too long (ideally 5 to 10 minutes), and the water should be lukewarm (around 37°C) so the skin does not become more red or dry. Pour a small amount of gel into your hand, lather gently, and wash your baby's skin and hair. Rinse carefully. After bathing, be sure to dry the skin exclusively by gently patting it with a soft towel (without rubbing), and then apply Mustela Soothing Lotion while the skin is still slightly damp.

The classic "Gentle Cleansing Gel" (blue line) is intended for normal skin and contains the signature Mustela scent. This Soothing Gel (red line) is formulated strictly without fragrance, is enriched with Schisandra, and is specially designed to soothe skin that easily reddens, tingles, or feels tight after contact with water.

2. Does the gel lather even though it contains no soap?
Yes. Thanks to very mild surfactants of natural origin, upon contact with water, the gel creates a gentle, creamy foam that rinses easily from the skin and hair.

3. Is it safe for washing the baby's face?
