MartiDerm Platinum Night Renew is a night treatment in ampoules from the dermocosmetic brand MartiDerm. The manufacturer describes it as a regenerating night formula with a soft-peeling effect: it gently exfoliates and renews the skin while also moisturising and firming it overnight.

The formula combines several alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) – glycolic, lactic, malic, tartaric and citric acid – with soluble collagen and sodium hyaluronate. How to use

Use in the evening on clean, dry skin as the first step of your night routine.

Gently shake the ampoule.
Place the ampoule on a flat, hard surface, put the Easy Open tool on top and press until you hear a click.
Remove the Easy Open tool and fit the dispenser onto the ampoule up to the marked line.
Dispense about half of the contents into your palm and apply to the face (and, if desired, neck and décolleté), massaging gently until absorbed.
Store the opened ampoule upright with the cap on the dispenser and use the rest the next evening.

Who is it for?

The ampoules are intended for adults who want a night treatment for skin renewal – for dull, uneven or tired-looking skin and for the first signs of ageing. Because of the AHA content, people with very sensitive or reactive skin should introduce the product gradually.

Important notes

Sunburn alert: products with alpha hydroxy acids may increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun. Use a sunscreen during the day, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using the product and for a week afterwards.
Avoid contact with the eyes and do not apply to irritated or damaged skin.
A slight tingling may occur when using acid-based products; if redness or irritation persists, stop using the product.

If you have not used acids before, start with application every second or third evening for the first two weeks, then move to nightly use if your skin tolerates it well. Do not combine the ampoules on the same evening with other exfoliating products or retinol, to avoid irritating the skin.

The most important companion of any AHA treatment is daily sun protection: apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 every morning, even on cloudy days. Without it, the skin may become more sensitive to the sun and the renewal effect is lost.

The ampoules are a night treatment and are designed for the evening routine. Because the formula contains AHAs, which may increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun, use a high-SPF sunscreen during the day.

3. Do the ampoules contain hyaluronic acid?
