Although probiotic bacteria (like those in this preparation) naturally synthesize certain vitamins in the gut (exogenous folic acid), Lactinova Mama is primarily a probiotic and prebiotic, not a substitute for prenatal multivitamins. For a complete intake of iron, calcium, and additional folic acid, we recommend the parallel use of specialized pregnancy multivitamins (e.g., Orthomol Natal or Elevit).

2. Can I take this probiotic if I am taking antibiotics for a urinary tract infection?
Yes, and it is highly recommended to prevent the development of vaginal candidiasis (thrush). The only important thing is to leave a gap of at least 2 hours between taking the antibiotic and the Lactinova Mama capsule.
