DOMPE´ FARMACEUTICI S.P.A.

Dompé Farmaceutici S.p.A. is an international biotechnology and pharmaceutical company headquartered in Milan, Italy. It combines a long tradition (it was founded as a pharmacy in Milan more than 130 years ago) with modern research and drug development.

The company is focused on innovation and develops therapies in areas such as ophthalmology, neurology and pain, as well as rare diseases. It has its own production and research center in L'Aquila, where drug synthesis and biotechnological production are carried out.

Dompé has developed an advanced drug discovery platform based on supercomputers and artificial intelligence ("Exscalate"), which allows it to develop new molecules more efficiently.

The company is committed to sustainable growth and invests significant resources in R&D, as well as in the expansion of production capacity — in recent years it has made large investments in its production center in L'Aquila.

In the management of Dompé, the Dompé family plays an important role. Sergio Dompé is the president and a key figure in the company's strategy, while Nathalie Dompé has the role of co-CEO.

Dompé also runs the Dompé Foundation, which promotes higher education in STEM fields and supports talent, especially in scientific research.
