Pharmacist's advice

Beconase works preventively – for hay fever it is best to start before the pollen season and use it regularly every day. Blow your nose gently before use; rinsing the nose with a hypertonic or isotonic solution beforehand helps the medicine reach the nasal lining.

If your nose becomes dry or you get minor nosebleeds, ask your pharmacist about products that moisturise the nasal lining. Do not use the spray more often or in higher doses than prescribed.
