Solgar Beta Glucan is recommended for strengthening immunity in infectious diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites, chronic inflammations and hematological and autoimmune diseases. It is useful during postoperative recovery, for faster healing of wounds and when exposed to different types of radiation. Operation:
Beta 1,3 glucan is a long-chain polysaccharide derived from the cell membrane of natural yeast (Saccharomyces ceravisiae) that activates macrophages - the body's first line of immune defense in the fight against viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. Macrophages have the ability to recognize and eliminate foreign or unnecessary cells for the body, and beta 1,3 glucan, by activating macrophages, contributes to a better and faster immune response. In addition to increasing the efficiency of the immune system, beta 1,3 glucan also affects the increase in the number of defense cells, as it additionally stimulates the formation of bone marrow. Beta 1,3 glucan shows strong antioxidant properties, because acting as a free radical scavenger, it protects cells from oxidative damage. Derived from the cell membrane of yeast, beta 1,3 glucan shows a strong antifungal effect, and a synergistic effect with antibiotics and cholesterol-lowering drugs. Numerous scientific studies have shown the effectiveness of high doses of beta 1,3 glucan as an additional natural aid in the prevention and treatment of malignant diseases.
